In a world where historical memory is increasingly giving way to superficial narratives, there are people who are dedicated to reminding the world of Polish heritage, heroes, and values. One of them is Waldemar Biniecki – editor-in-chief of the legendary Kuryer Polski from Milwaukee, revived after 70 years, a Polish diaspora activist, journalist, and promoter of the idea of ​​a global Polish diaspora. In recognition of his work to disseminate truth about Poland and build bridges between the country and the diaspora, the Institute of National Remembrance awarded him the title of Ambassador of Polish History in 2025.

Poland, now at the center of European security, must redefine its role in a world where the United States is shifting its strategic priorities. The country, which has become a pillar of NATO and a symbol of democratic resolve, can strengthen its position by cooperating with the powerful yet dormant Polish American community.

The United States is the world's largest economy and a significant trading partner for Poland. From June 28 to July 5, at the invitation of the Polish Association, a delegation from the Patria Polonia Institute of the Scientific Society of the Catholic University of Lublin visited Texas.

Good ideas are never enough. If the beautiful renaissance of American Polonia is to become a reality, resources and funding will be needed on a scale that will prevent Polonia from being remembered as only “the lost tribes” of Poland.
