Polish historian, habilitated doctor of humanities, associate professor at the National Education Commission Pedagogical University (PU) in Krakow. In 2006 he defended his doctoral thesis, and he obtained his habilitation in 2015. Member of the Polish Academy of Learning and the Polish Historical Society. Founder and first director of the Center for the Documentation of Deportations, Expulsions and Resettlements of the PU.
